Flurry of fruit and vegetable picking

Although complaining about the weather is part of our British heritage, let’s face it, this summer hasn’t been the best. In fact, I can’t remember a summer with as many prolonged periods of genuinely cold days. Still, somehow with grit and determination, our gardens and allotments fight with all their might to put on as big a show as possible.
